Grant Weedman has been working in the landscaping industry since he was 12 years old. What started as mowing lawns and pulling weeds turned into a passion for building outdoor spaces that last. In 2019, at 17 years old, he started GW Lawn & Landscape — running crews, managing projects, and learning the business side while finishing school.
As the company grew, Grant wanted a name that reflected the full scope of what he was building. He renamed it Lifecycle Outdoor Services — inspired by his father's companies, Lifecycle Real Estate and Lifecycle Engineering. The name represents the same values: quality work, long-term thinking, and treating every project like it matters.
Today, Grant runs Lifecycle with a team of five full-time employees, including a foreman and project manager with over 25 years of hands-on experience in the landscape industry. Both Grant and his foreman are on every jobsite — you will never be handed off to a crew you have never met.
Based in Shorewood, Minnesota, Lifecycle Outdoor Services now serves 29 communities across the Lake Minnetonka region, specializing in the projects other contractors turn down: complex lakeside retaining walls, engineered shoreline restorations, and multi-phase outdoor living transformations that require permitting, heavy equipment, and years of specialized knowledge.

Grant started working in landscaping at 12 years old and founded his first company at 17. Now 24 with over a decade of hands-on experience, he brings a combination of technical expertise, creative design ability, and genuine care for every project he takes on. Grant earned his degree in Business Management while growing Lifecycle — balancing coursework with running crews and managing six-figure builds.
He is not a salesperson who hands your project off to a crew you never meet. Grant is on your property during every phase of the build, alongside his foreman and project manager who brings 25+ years of industry experience. Together, they handle everything from design and permitting to the final walkthrough — managing projects from $6,500 residential plantings to large multi-phase design builds exceeding $450,000.
